Magic Flavour Enhancer

This is a food condiment used to enhance the flavour of any food it is added to. The small cork bottle contains an oily liquid - only two drops are normally added to the food to be enhanced. The addition of the two drops of the liquid result in a light glittering effect over the food, then the aromas and taste of the food are enhanced ten-fold.

CAUTION - If more than two drops are added then the taste is altered too the point where it becomes inedible. This flavour enhancer must be used only sparingly, as over use of the condiment causes the user to become increasingly infatuated with adding it to all food. Gorrin understands this fully and when he gives a small bottle to Brian as a 'thank-you' present, makes special mention as a warning to his friend.

Healing Potion

In chapter sixteen, Gorrin uses a gold coloured liquid from a small glass stoppered glass  bottle. When the liquid is drunk by the person suffering from an injury, the skin of the person, glows slightly gold, particularly where the area of damage is located, such as abrasions, broken bones, etcetera.

Having emptied the contents the stopper is reinserted and the bottle tapped smartly on the ground three times - the result is that the bottle refills. Gorrin normally carries this in his backpack, but has been known to place it into his tunic also.

Healing Liniment

This is a special translucent gel stored in a small glass jar. It is used to sooth and mend minor cuts and abrasions, by simply applying the cream to the site of the injury. All injuries mend within a matter of minutes.

Dowsing Crystal

This crystal is threaded onto a silver chain and it is used to dowse or 'scry' for lost objects or people. The user holds the end of the chain with a object that belongs to the person being sought. The crystal begins to rotate clockwise normally. If held directly over a map, the crystal is attracted to a point on a map where the object or person is located and it is pulled down towards this map point.
